'We Should All Be Feminists' Book

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s eloquent book-length essay is adapted from her 2012 TEDx talk. Hailed as “the most important book you read all year,” her words set forth a definition of feminism for the 21st century. This handy book is ideal to read over breakfast each morning as your daily fight song. It’s also perfectly sized to casually leave anywhere it’s likely to be picked up by someone in need of guidance and/or inspiration. Book dimensions are 6.2 x 4.5 x 0.3 inches.

Fighter Notecard Set

For all of your correspondence needs, our notecard set contains 8 cards and envelopes - 2 each of 4 designs. Each design includes a different message: “we will rise”, “herstory”, “nasty women unite”, and “don’t stop fighting”. The images on the cards are historical photos representing various moments in the struggle for equality and justice. The cards are A2 size - 5.5” x 4.25” and are packaged together in a handy box.

'Smash the Patriarchy' Pin

Pick up a hammer and join the cause! We love this ‘Smash the Patriarchy’ pin. It is a gold metallic and black enamel lapel pin measuring 1.5 inches long. The back is hard rubber. Bang-up Betty provides this delightful pin. From her studio overlooking downtown Little Rock, Bang-up Betty dreams up snarky flair. (Betty isn’t her name, Betty is her cat. You can call her Stacey.)

'Future Is Female' T-shirt

How better to encourage equality than to wear it proudly? The original “The Future Is Female” T-shirt design was made for Labyris Books, the first women’s bookstore in New York City, which was opened in 1972 by Jane Lurie and Marizel Rios. The photographer Liza Cowan took a picture of musician Alix Dobkin, her girlfriend at the time, wearing it in 1975. Otherwild remade this amazing tee after discovering it on Instagram.
